Bellingham

Located about an hour and a half from Seattle, the city boasts breathtaking scenery and an abundance of recreational opportunities. The northernmost city in the contiguous United States, Bellingham is home to more than 50,000 people. Summer activities for residents and visitors include golfing, hiking, whale watching, and fishing, while those who visit in the winter can ski at Mt. Baker or visit one of the galleries or museums in Bellingham.

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge offers visitors picturesque views of the surrounding areas such as the Cascade Mountain Range, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic Peninsula. The charming island is packed with rural character and features numerous artisan wineries, a brewery, and an organic distillery. There are several acres of parks, trails to hike, and mesmerizing historical sites. Take the time to find a reputable company that specializes in moving and storage in Seattle if you are relocating from the city to the Island. If you are heading to Bainbridge Island simply to see the sights, get ready to fall in love with the views while riding the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry, and feel inspired by the island's charm upon arrival. The island is a great place to live, work, and play.

Just an hour from Seattle lies a beautiful 270-foot waterfall. Snoqualmie Falls is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for its importance in the beliefs of the Snoqualmie people and is one of the state’s most loved scenic attractions. More than 1.5 million people visit the Falls annually. There is no admission fee to enter the two-acre park that surrounds Snoqualmie Falls. The area offers a short hiking trail, a handicap-accessible observation deck, and a picnic area to stop and have a bite to eat. Leashed pets are allowed. If you visit in the evening, enjoy the lights that illuminate the falls.
