Friday Favorites // Volume 4

I’ve been doing a lot of work to revamp my blog the last couple of weeks, and in the process, I’ve been reading old blog posts and making sure links are working and everything is spaced correctly, etc.

I stumbled upon my old blog series, “Friday Favorites” and realized I hadn’t posted one in years. Since today is Friday, I thought, why not post another volume??

So, here are some things I’ve been into lately!

Adam and I binged this documentary on Netflix called, “The Man with 1000 Kids” and it was mind-blowing. Highly recommend giving it a watch!

Speaking of documentaries, I also watched, “Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult” on Netflix recently and thought it was wild. I find cult-related stuff so fascinating. It’s pretty sad, though, but super interesting.

Honorable mention since we’re on the topic of documentaries: “Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini” on Hulu kept me guessing. The things people do…

I’m always on the hunt for Lily-friendly snacks. The Instagram account/website Yummy Toddler Food is so great! She has a ton of awesome ideas. I made these three-ingredient cereal bars the other day and Lily loves them.

Another go-to recipe that Lily loves are these veggie-packed chocolate muffins. They don’t have any sugar in them (yay!) and they’re full of sneaky veggies. I also use two flax eggs instead of real eggs since Lily is allergic, and I use gluten-free flour and applesauce as well. They always turn out great!

Another amazing recipe I’ve been into the last couple of months is this one for the most amazing gluten-free cookies from Katiebird Bakes. I swap out a few things in this recipe to make them Lily-friendly, too. (I use peanut butter instead of almond butter, and a flax egg instead of a real egg.) If you’re a peanut butter and chocolate fan… you must make these, STAT.

If you’re looking for a super comfy travel or lazy day outfit that looks a bit nicer than leggings and an old T-shirt, might I recommend this jumpsuit from Amazon. I was skeptical because… it’s Amazon (lol), but it’s actually really soft and I sort of want to order more of them in different colors. I would size down since they run a bit large, just FYI!

As for music I’m into lately, obviously Taylor Swift is always playing in the car or in my ears while I’m out for a run, but Please, Please, Please and Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter have also been on repeat.

This weekend we’re heading to Portland to visit some friends. Looking forward to it! What are some of your favorite things this week? As always, thanks for reading. xo
