NW Chocolate Festival
Last month, I was a guest blogger at the NW Chocolate Festival. (Yes, it's taken me a month to post these photos... I've been so swamped with school! I'm sorry!) It was a cold, blustery day in Seattle, and the festival took place at Pier 91, which is right on the water and surrounded by gorgeous views. The whitecaps that day were insane! It was a perfect day to be indoors eating chocolate. :)
My friends, Mirela and Mirzeta met up with me there and we wandered around for a few hours, guiltlessly indulging on endless chocolate samples!
A few companies we were lucky enough to sample from included Chocolate Man, MilkBoy, Cultura, Blanxart, Hot Cakes, Indi, Coracao Confections, Forte, and so much more!
This was the most magical cheese. I couldn't stop sampling it! I'm from Wisconsin, so I'm sort of a cheese snob... You can buy it here, and you totally should.
Fran's Chocolate was giving away a chocolate turkey for Thanksgiving, but sadly I didn't win. Fran herself was there to announce the winner!
The festival was delicious and the three of us walked away with lots of goodies. It was cool getting to see how Chocolate is made all over the world and sample such a huge variety of flavors. What would the world be without chocolate?? Thanks for letting me join in on the fun, NW Chocolate Festival! Looking forward to next year!
