Christmas Eve at Crystal Mountain
So, I'm not a skier, and I've learned that this isn't a great way to start a conversation with anyone who lives in Washington. Skiing is a very normal part of the culture out here and I'd say 90% of the people who grew up here have been skiing since the day they could walk.

The four-day Thanksgiving break was so wonderful, wasn't it? I got to meet some of Adam's extended family for the first time and they welcomed me with open arms. It was such a fun weekend getting to know everyone!
Beacon Rock
On our way home from camping in Oregon this past weekend, we stopped at Beacon Rock in Vancouver, Washington and hiked our way up to the top.
Memorial Day Weekend
Over Memorial Day weekend, Adam and I went on a road trip to Missoula, Montana for a Jenny Lewis concert. (Yep.) She's coming to Washington this summer, but sadly I won't be able to attend any of those shows, so because I'm a crazy fangirl, I bought us tickets to see her in a city seven hours away from Seattle.
